Radio Equipment
JR XS3 Pro Surface Radio Control
I've been using the JR XS3 Pro for a few years now. In fact, it came
out in 2003 and while it is a couple of years old at this point, and
not the trendy 2.4GHz that is popular now but the 75MHz frequency
spectrum, it is still fine for surface use and the adjustability of the
radio has made it perfect for every thing from my HPI Micro RS4s, to an
Associated TC4, to an Associated T4 and finally in my Tamiya CR-01 Rock
Crawler. A bonus to this being a 75Mhz radio is that you can get a
top-notch radio at a reasonable price. I've seen this radio new for
well under $200 and on eBay used for even less.

Radio Equipment
JR 8103 Radio Control for Aircraft, Helicopters and Sailplanes.
The 8103 is JR's successor to the 388. It offers several new features -
most importantly a new large size screen for easier programming. A
graphical interface makes it quicker to program than its predecessors.
The 8103 maintains all of the features you would like to see in a
full-house computer radio. It has eight channels, 10 model memory, PCM
and FM, and all of the traditional features including airplane, helicopter and sailplane
programming as well as six types of programmable mixing.
