Soar Milwaukee! is a new web site for a Milwaukee based soaring club called the Milwaukee Soaring Group;
dedicated to growing the hobby of radio control sailplane flying and
promoting competitions for rc soaring enthusiasts in the Milwaukee area
as well as surrounding areas

Madison Wisconsin Handlaunch Contest - 7/15/07
The 2007 1.5 m HAND LAUNCH CONTEST will be held at Paul’s Turf and
Tree Nursery near Marshall (same place as usual). This relatively low
key event provides a hands on competition for these little gliders.
Newcomers to this aspect of flying are encouraged to participate in
this fun event. You can gain a lot of flight experience with the
typical hand launch tasks and contest format. The contest is flown
man-on-man by rounds, and typically involves activity by all
competitors during each round. We encourage on-lookers to come watch
and even get involved as timers.

Leading Edge Gliders EPP Building Clinic 4-DVD set Now Available.
This 4-DVD set, produced by slopeflyer.com, covers EVERYTHING about building a
Leading Edge Gliders PSS slope plane. Jack from LEG takes it from right out of the
box through building, taping, covering, painting, weathering and even
test fly it at the slope with plenty of great general rc slope soaring
type info thrown in as well, so don't think this is just for PSS guys.
While this video concentrates on the building of one of Jack's 60-inch
PSS Warbirds, many of the tips and techniques are applicable to other
EPP planes as well as model building in general.

Weasel Pro RC Slope Glider Review
If you read my website at slopeflyer.com you'll know that the Richter Design Weasel is among my favorite RC slope planes. Every RC pilot ought to own at least one. I now have two with the recent completion of my Weasel Pro.
