Team Losi Mini-T
This was the first off-road 1/18 scale rc stadium truck I got. The Team
Losi Mini-T is an economically priced 1/18 scale Ready-To-Run replica
of the XXX-T. It has been a blast and I still like driving it around
the backyard track.
I picked up the RTR version that has the radio system included.
It is fully proportional with servo reversing and adjustable-rate
steering, a forward/reverse FET electronic speed control, and features
changeable crystals on 27MHZ allowing for a bunch of Mini-T’s to race
at the same time.]

Out of the box, power comes from four AA alkaline cells but for even
more performance you can pick up, or make up to a six cell rechargeable
Ni-Cad pack. I'll admit that I am a silly guy because I tried one of my
3-cell LiPoly packs from my electric sailplane in it as well. Man, it
was fast up until the voltage smoked the motor but there is potential
there!
With real suspension and semi-pneumatic tires the Mini-T can be run on
rough and irregular surfaces indoors or outdoors. So when it’s too hot,
cold, or wet outside, the garage, family room, or patio can become an
instant racetrack. The only limitation is your imagination. Small
jumps, bumps, or dips just make for more fun. I set up a track in the
back yard and it is my favorite place to drive RC vehicles because it
is right outside the door!

The truck is pretty durable. My 6-year old daughter has learned how to
drive an RC vehicle with this truck and has never broken it.
There are a bunch of hop-up parts available for the Mini-T.
