American Model Yachting Association - AMYA

Founded in 1970, the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA) is the National Governing Body for the model sport of sailing and is recognized by US Sailing. Members of the AMYA who are citizens of the United States may compete for the US in international competition. Membership in the AMYA is not limited to US citizens. There are many members around the world who join to receive the Model Yachting Magazine, the official publication of AMYA, and the freedom to vote in AMYA recognized Yacht Classes.
The AMYA's main goals are to promoting the designing, building, racing, and preservation of all model sailing yachts. The AMYA recognizes certain Classes of Model Yachts, sanctions model yacht Regattas, recognizes model Yacht Clubs, publishes Model Yachting Magazine, and Promotes Model Yachting in general. Any model sailboat enthusiast will benefit by joining the AMYA and meeting others with the same interests.
